[A general Mognet post today because Lea and Isa need anyone who can help.

Lea points his camera at the mess of wood and metal that is going to be their bedframe.

He hopes. Currently it’s just a disaster with Isa sitting in the middle of it, fuming and sweaty. Their apartment, like so many, is powerless.]

So...anyone know how to read backwoods Wutaian? At least I think that’s what the directions are in...or was it something else, Isa?

I think that’s what it is.

[He squints at the directions before holding them up for Lea’s phone to capture.]

[And yeah, it’s some dialect of Wutaian that two boys from Kalm would never have learned to read. Lea sighs]

Never buy a bed from a backalley furniture store, guys. Even if it’s a great deal for a queen-sized bed.

[Yes. Two teenaged boys got one queen-sized bed. No, they don’t see a problem with this.]

Okay, you’ve asked. Turn that off and go change the laundry to the dryer already.

[He pauses.]

You’re not still filming this are you?

[Lea snorts]

[He scowls and flops down backwards onto a pile of wood that he forgot was there. Which only makes him even more annoyed.]

[Lea sighs and moves over to help Isa sit up]

C'mon, go get that rag we soaked and stuck in the freezer. Should be cold enough by now.

[He gets up and heads to the bedroom door before turning to look back at Lea.]

You couldn't have reminded me of that instead of going on about materia and spells?

And this is more practical.

[Isa shakes his head an smiles before going and grabbing the cold rag. He drapes it over the back of his neck before heading back to the room. It's already helping cool him down.]

[Lea laughs]

I'm not wasting ethers on Ice materia, Isa. That's for mastered Fire only!

Good.

[Though really, as much of a hard time as Isa is giving him, he would not mind Lea putting the ice materia to good use if they could come up with a way that wouldn't destroy their room or put his life in danger.]

I mean unless we could freeze the bedroom for longer than a second. Then I'd use them.

It's too bad no one is selling air conditioners or generators that run on lightning materia.

[That would solve their problem. But it's a solution that he's pretty sure would be purchasable if it were possible.]

You'd think that'd be a thing....but then again if it was there'd never have been a ShinRa.

Oh, there would have been. They'd just have bought out the market on lightning materia.

[He sighs and plops face down on the floor in a space that's not covered in wood and pieces of metal. Just let him be a puddle on the floor for now.]

At least the floor's not too warm.

[Lea starts to poke at the wood and metal, trying to sort out the bed]

[Lea laughs]

We're moving to Icicle Inn next time. Then you won't look so pathetic.

Hopefully they get this sorted soon and we can have the air conditioner on.
